The AFT Custom Marble & Granite Experience
At AFT Custom Marble & Granite, we believe a great countertop project is about more than choosing a beautiful stone. It’s about having a clear, reliable process from the moment you begin exploring your options to the day your new surfaces are installed.
Our team works closely with you, your contractor, designer, or architect to make each stage of the project as seamless as possible. From material selection and measurements to fabrication and installation, we focus on precision, craftsmanship, and communication every step of the way.
Planning Your Project
Every project begins with a conversation. We’ll discuss your space, your vision, the type of material you’re considering, and the scope of the work. Whether you already know exactly what you want or need help narrowing down your options, our team can help you determine the best direction for your project.
We’ll also review important details such as the countertop layout, edge profile, backsplash requirements, sink configuration, and anticipated timeline.
Material Selection & Estimate
Once we understand your project, we’ll help you select a material that fits both your design and practical needs. Depending on your project, this may include natural stone such as marble or granite, as well as other countertop materials.
After reviewing the project specifications and measurements available, we’ll provide an estimate based on the selected material, fabrication requirements, and installation scope. The estimate serves as a starting point and may be updated as project details are finalized.
Measuring & Finalizing Details
Accurate measurements are essential to a successful countertop installation. Our team will coordinate the necessary site measurements to verify dimensions, walls, corners, openings, appliances, sinks, and other conditions that can affect fabrication.
This is also the time to finalize details such as edge profiles, seams, sink cutouts, cooktop openings, backsplashes, and other custom requirements.
Once the measurements and specifications have been confirmed, your project is ready to move into fabrication.
Project Approval & Deposit
Once you’ve reviewed the estimate and are ready to move forward, we’ll confirm the project details, material, scope of work, and installation requirements.
A deposit is collected to officially begin the fabrication process and reserve your project in our production schedule. At this stage, we’ll make sure all major selections and specifications are clearly documented before moving ahead.
Precision Fabrication
Your selected stone is carefully prepared and fabricated to the specifications of your project. Our fabrication process includes precise cutting, edge finishing, polishing, and the creation of any required cutouts or custom details.
Every piece is fabricated with the installation in mind, allowing us to account for the unique characteristics and dimensions of your space.
Our goal is simple: a finished countertop that looks beautiful and fits exactly as intended.
Scheduling Your Installation
As fabrication nears completion, our team will coordinate with you or your contractor to establish an installation date.
Before installation, we’ll confirm that the site is properly prepared and that any necessary cabinets, appliances, sinks, plumbing, or other related work is ready for the countertop installation.
Clear communication at this stage helps ensure installation day runs as smoothly as possible.
Professional Installation
Installation day is when your project comes together.
Our installation team will carefully transport and position your finished countertops, making the necessary adjustments to achieve a precise fit. Seams, joints, edges, and other finishing details are completed with careful attention to the overall appearance of the space.
We treat every installation as the final step of the craftsmanship process—not simply the delivery of a finished product.
Final Walkthrough
Once installation is complete, we’ll review the finished project with you or your project team. We’ll make sure the countertops have been installed according to the agreed-upon specifications and address any remaining questions or details.
At AFT Custom Marble & Granite, our goal is to leave you with more than a beautiful countertop. We want you to feel confident in the quality of the work, the craftsmanship behind it, and the experience from start to finish.
